Booking Policy

Please opt in for text messages when prompted. This is how we communicate appointment information, reminders, and confirmations.

Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

Life can get busy, right? We get it! Our system will send you a reminder 48 hours before your appt (when applicable). If you booked less than 48 hours out, you’ll get a request to confirm the about 24 hours’ before. These notices allow you to confirm, cancel or reschedule within the published time frame:

  • 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel/reschedule any appointment for 1-3 people
  • 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel/reschedule any appointment for 4 or more people.

Appointments made less than 24 hours from the start time may be cancelled or rescheduled with 4 hours’ notice, but not less than 90 minutes from appointment start time.

Appointment Confirmation Policy

We work on call, so it’s super important to confirm your appointments. While confirmation the day before is preferred, we must hear from you no later than the morning of… 2 hours prior to start time or by 11:00 am the morning of the scheduled visit, whichever comes first. (Examples: a 10:00 am appointment must be confirmed by 8:00 am; a 3:00 pm appointment must be confirmed by 11:00 am).

Unconfirmed appointments are subject to cancellation at our discretion and will require a deposit to book future appointments, even if for a single person.

Late/No Show Policy

Please arrive 5 mins early to complete paperwork. A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be allowed. Later than 15 minutes may be considered a No-Show, which can incur a $25 fee or forfeiture of your deposit.

We understand that sometimes things happen and will try our best to accommodate you if you communicate with us that you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc… Please note, for late arrivals we may need to reschedule any services that cannot be fit into the appointment time to keep our technicians on schedule for other clients.

Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit will be taken to secure the booking. The amount will be applied to services at kept appointment.

No shows and appointments not rescheduled within the stated time frame forfeit the amount and a new deposit will be required for a future booking.

Deposit is transferrable 1 time with 24 hours’ notice (1-3 people) or 48 hours’ notice (4+ people). New appointment must be rescheduled for a day within 2 weeks of original appointment.

Unscheduled Guests/Services

We schedule our time based on the services requested at booking. All services, including family head checks, must be scheduled. In the event that an unscheduled head check is requested at the appointment we will try to accommodate if time allows.  In such cases, if the screening is positive for lice, we will apply our topical application to kill any live lice and schedule the treatment for a time in the next few days.

Kids & Pets

Children are the heart and soul of our business, and we can’t wait to meet yours!! We do want to ensure their safety as well as the provide the best experience for other clients of all ages, so please bring something to occupy the kiddos while they wait. Unfortunately, COVID guidelines recommend that we not provide shared items such as tablets, etc.…at the present time.

As much as we love our furry companions, our clinic is not an appropriate environment for pets. Exceptions may be made for trained service dogs (with advance notice), but not for emotional support animals. We appreciate your understanding.
