Thank you for choosing Lice Clinics of America San Antonio! Your business is very important to us. Please take a moment to read and understand our policies. They are in place to ensure the best experience for your family, other families we service, and our staff.

Booking Policy

Please opt in for text messages when prompted. This is how we communicate appointment information, reminders, and confirmations.

Deposit Policy

A deposit will be taken to secure the booking. The deposit is non-refundable, but the amount will be applied toward services at the kept, on-time appointment.

Appointment Confirmation Policy

Confirmation is required for all appointments booked for a future date, including next day. While confirmation the day/evening before is preferred, we must hear from you no later than the morning of… 2 hours prior to start time or by 11:00 am the morning of the scheduled visit, whichever comes first. (Examples: a 10:00 am appointment must be confirmed by 8:00 am; a 3:00 pm appointment must be confirmed by 11:00 am).

Our appointment space is limited and in demand. Therefore, unconfirmed appointments are subject to cancellation at our discretion and will require a new deposit to rebook.

Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

Life can get busy, right? We get it! Our system will send a reminder 24-48 hours prior and a confirmation request 24 hours before the appointment.

  • We require 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule any appointment booked in advance
  • Appointments booked same day may be cancelled or rescheduled with 2 hours notice
  • Multi-treatment appointments take significant time on our schedule, therefore our cancel/reschedule policy applies to each person for whom a treatment has been reserved
    • $25 fee will be incurred for any persons scheduled for treatment not present at the appointment (does not apply to family head screens at same appointment)
  • Deposit is non-refundable, but is transferrable 1 time within the published time frame
    • New appointment must be rescheduled for a day within 2 weeks of original appointment.

Late/No Show Policy

Please arrive 5 mins early to complete paperwork. A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be allowed. Later than 15 minutes will incur a $25 fee or forfeiture of your deposit.

We understand that sometimes things happen and will try our best to accommodate you if you communicate with us that you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc… Please note, for late arrivals we may need to reschedule any services that cannot be fit into the appointment time to keep our technicians running on time.

Unscheduled Guests & Services

We schedule our time based on the services requested at booking. All services, including family head checks, must be scheduled. In the event that an unscheduled head check is requested at the appointment we will try to accommodate if time allows.  In such cases, if the screening is positive for lice, we will pre-treat with our topical application to kill any live lice and schedule the treatment for a time in the next few days.

Our clinic can get quite busy, especially on weekends. We kindly ask that only those being checked or treated (or someone to help with little ones) attend the appointment.

Kids & Pets

Children are the heart and soul of our business, and we can’t wait to meet yours!! We do want to ensure their safety as well as the provide the best experience for other clients of all ages, so consider bringing something to occupy the kiddos while they wait.

As much as we love our furry companions, our clinic is not an appropriate environment for pets. Exceptions may be made for trained service dogs (with advance notice), but not for emotional support animals. We appreciate your understanding.
